POSH Act Workshops and Training Programmes

Creating a safe, respectful, and inclusive workplace is essential for the well-being and productivity of employees. The Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, 2013 (POSH Act) was enacted to ensure protection against sexual harassment at the workplace and to provide an effective mechanism for prevention and redressal of complaints arising in the workplace.

Tabish Sarosh & Associates regularly conducts POSH Act workshops, training programmes, and awareness sessions for corporate organizations, educational institutions, professionals, NGOs, and other stakeholders. These programmes are designed to create awareness regarding the provisions of the POSH Act, rights and responsibilities of employees, and the procedures for addressing complaints in accordance with law.

The training programmes aim to foster a safe and dignified work environment while sensitizing participants to issues concerning workplace harassment, gender sensitivity, and legal compliance. They also assist organizations in understanding the framework for establishing effective redressal mechanisms and promoting a culture of mutual respect and accountability.

Structure of the Workshop

  1. Introduction to the POSH Act and its objectives.
  2. Understanding acts constituting sexual harassment and the legal framework governing them.
  3. Formation, constitution, and functioning of the Internal Complaints Committee (ICC), along with the complaint procedure.
  4. Conduct of proceedings and inquiry before the Internal Complaints Committee (ICC).
  5. Discussion on important statutory provisions and significant judicial pronouncements.
  6. Interaction and Q&A.

Participants who successfully complete the programme are issued a certificate of participation by the firm.

At Tabish Sarosh & Associates, we remain committed to promoting awareness, strengthening workplace sensitivity, and assisting institutions and organizations in fostering safe and equitable working environments through structured educational initiatives and capacity-building programmes.
