Internship program by Govt. of Rajasthan
The Young Interns Program (YIP) 2023-24 by the Government of Rajasthan is offering a year-long internship with a stipend of Rs. 30,000, targeting individuals aged 21 to 30. The program aims to provide practical experience in government projects and schemes, encouraging youth participation in public service.
Objectives
- Empower youth with awareness of government programs and services.
- Strengthen research and evaluation skills in public administration.

- Encourage independent critical analysis of government programs.
- Foster innovation from young minds to enhance the impact of government schemes.
Eligibility Criteria
- Age between 21 to 30 years.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in English and Hindi.
- Post-graduate qualification with a minimum of 60% marks or a CGPA of 6 on a scale of 10.
- Graduates in specific streams (Engineering, Medical, Law, CA/CS) with 60% marks eligible.
- Preference given to those with working experience in the relevant field.
- Mandatory possession of a laptop and internet facility.
Application Process
Online applications invited with an “intent write-up” of at least 300 words justifying the applicant’s selection.
Duration
One-year internship with a possibility of extension based on performance, up to a maximum of two years.
Stipend
Selected interns receive a monthly stipend of Rs. 30,000, with an additional Rs. 2500 for laptop connectivity and mobility support.
Selection Process
- Preliminary Scrutiny by a selection committee.
- Group Discussion and Personal Interview will be conducted.
