Brief Facts of the Case

The complainant alleged that a dispute arose when the accused person, who was known to him and worked at the same service station, left the premises open. Upon being questioned, an altercation ensued. It was further alleged that later in the evening the accused, along with other persons, assaulted the complainant with sticks and rods, causing injuries.

It was further submitted that the investigation had already been completed, the charge sheet had been filed, and therefore continued incarceration of the accused was unwarranted.
